ABYC Basic Electrical & Basic Corrosion Training Offered

Do conversations about ohms, amps, and volts leave you befuddled? Does your shore power cable spark when you plug it in? Is your cathodic system acting less than cathartic? Come attend an ABYC Basic Electrical and Basic Corrosion class, and solve all your electrical woes!

The course is designed to teach the foundations of electrical theory, as they apply to marine electric systems and cathodic systems.

Dates: 8-11 Dec, 2015

Location: NOAA Western Regional Center, Seattle WA

Instructor: Mr. Kevin Ritz, ABYC

Tuition: Free!

Open slots: 20 total

  • 10 for NMFS personnel
  • 10 for all other line offices
  • Additional classes can be arranged if interest exceeds capacity, but note that free tuition may not be available for further classes

Travel: Your program will be expected to cover travel and per diem expenses
